O'Connell Prep Girls Basketball Power Their Way Past Legacy Christian
GALVESTON - The O'Connell Bucs set the tempo early and came away with a convincing win over the visiting Legacy Christian Warriors Friday in Galveston.
Legacy had little luck in slowing the Bucs offense as they found themselves simply overmatched. The Bucs turned in a hustling defensive effort that led to several turnovers. Their swarming defense helped spark their offense as they got out to a double digit lead early in the first half and never looked back.
Lanie Robinson led the way for the Bucs with 21 points as O'Connell moved their dictrict record to 2-1.
