December 18, 2011 - Texas Legends vs Austin Toros

After getting back on the winning track the Legends (2-8) made the drive down I-35 south the Austin as they looked to avenge a loss to the Austin Toros (6-3) just a few days ago. But it just wasn't meant to be on this night as the Toros had six players score in double digits on their way to a 115-99 win over Texas.

Anthony Vereen did his best to keep the Legends chances alive in this one as he went into the fourth quarter with 23 points. But it wasn't enough to hold off the red hot Toros as they went on a 11-2 run to start the fourth quarter and never looked back.

December 17, 2011 - Texas Legends vs Rio Grande Vipers

The Legends were looking to end a five-game losing streak as they returned home from a six-game road trip. A little home cooking and the comfort of home sweet home did the trick as Vance Cooksey scored 18 points and Booker Woodfox poured in a team high 22 points to lead the Legends to a 124-114 win over the Vipers.

Texas shot a solid 51.8 percent from the field and a coach pleasing 35 of 38 from the free throw line. Kelvin Lewis scored 28 points for the Vipers and Stanley Asumnu finished with 24 points to go along with 14 rebounds.
Dominique Johnson scored 21 points and he led the Legends in rebounding with 13 boards. Austin was led in scoring by Soloman Bozeman with 21 points. He also had six assists on the night.

December 21, 2011 - Texas Legends vs LA Defenders

The Legends returned to their home court to take on the Los Angeles Defenders and withstood Brandon Costners offensive explosion that resulted in a 34 point night for forward. He shot 11 of 23 from the floor and pulled down 10 rebounds to go along with two blocked shots.

Booker Woodfox led the Legends in scoring with his 22 points on 6 of 7 shooting from behind the arc. Texas had six players score in double figures and dished out 21 assists. The Defenders had the edge onthe boards by a 50-41 margin and offset the Legends scoring by putting three players over the 20 point mark in scoring.
