Connally Unable to Slow Down the Red Hot Harker Heights Bats
Harker Heights pounded out 16 hits and scored 11 runs against Pflugerville Connally to come away with a 11-2 win Saturday in the Connally Cougar Classic.
Connally had a tough time over the weekend as they went winless in the five games they played. They gave up 10 or more runs in all but one of the five games. They managed to score just two runs in three of the games and suffered shut outs in the other two.
The Cougars were winners of four of their last seven games coming into the tournament. They will look to get back on track Wednesday when they head over to crosstown rival Hendrickson for a district matchup.
